Saturday 11 May 10am - 4pm
Trevague Farm, Nr Launceston
Join us at 10am for tea or coffee, and an introduction to the workshop.
We will then look at the different techniques that will be required to create your sea glass ring including sawing, forming, soldering, filing, texturing, bezel setting and finishing. After some practice you will decide which techniques to use, before making a sea glass ring to take home with you. If you have time, you could add some stacking ring bands too. The workshop finishes at 4pm.
Refreshments and a light lunch are included.
You are welcome to bring your own sea glass (I will let you know if it's suitable to use), or select a piece from my collection.
Silver costs are not included in the workshop price. As a guide, you can expect to pay £5-£20 for your silver, depending on the quantity used for your design. This payment must be made at the time of the workshop, preferably by card.
This workshop accommodates 4 participants, with a minimum of 3 required for the session to go ahead. Private group bookings can be made on alternative dates by arrangement.
Please be aware that the studio is situated within a 400 year old listed building, with characteristics that mean that it may not be accessible if you have mobility issues. I recommend discussing this with me before you book. Although I will do my best to accommodate your needs, unfortunately, the only toilet is located on the first floor.
Minimum age is 16. Participants aged 16-18 must be accompanied by an adult also participating in the workshop.
Please read the full workshop terms and conditions as by purchasing a workshop space, you are accepting the contents.
