Workshop T&Cs

Please read before booking your class place as all bookings are subject to these terms.

Cancellations

For cancellations made more than 4 weeks in advance a full refund, or one free date change is offered.

For cancellations made 2-4 weeks in advance a refund of 50% (minus a £5 admin fee) will be issued.

A cancellation made within 2 weeks of the date of the scheduled class is not eligible for a refund or date change.

If you have accepted a change of date you are no longer eligible for an offer of a refund.

If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place; this is acceptable provided the substitute is physically able to complete the class and 14+ years of age (14-16 years must be accompanied by an adult who is also an attendee). Please provide your replacement’s name, phone number and email address in advance of the workshop.

They must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

If you are unwell and unable to attend (or may have an infectious illness and have been advised not to attend) please contact us as soon as possible. We will hold your booking until a suitable future date can be arranged.

SeaMaid reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances.

If SeaMaid is forced to cancel:

In the unlikely event that SeaMaid has to cancel a class you will be offered an alternative date in the first instance.

If an alternative date cannot be offered you will receive a full refund.

SeaMaid cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or other incidental costs you may have incurred.

14 day cooling off period – Consumer Protection Regulations

For class bookings made online the 14 day cooling off period applies, according to Consumer Protection Law.
For this cooling off period to apply you must advise us by email or phone or in person within the 14 days, which commence on the day you make your booking.
A full refund of class fees paid by that date will be made, via the original payment method.

For classes which start within the 14 days, by booking you are agreeing that the class can take place before the cooling off period ends and that your right to cancel expires on the start of the class.

Class Fees and Materials

Your class fee constitutes your booking.

The cost of silver is not included in the class fee. Please see the individual class listing for  guidance on this additional cost, and ensure that you can make the payment at the time of the workshop. Card payments are preferable.

Any questions regarding this please get in touch.

Disabilities and Accessibility

If you have specific mobility, access or working requirements, please get in touch before booking so you can advised. I will do my best to accommodate specific requirements.

Please note that the studio is located within a 400 year old listed farmhouse, with uneven stone floors and an upstairs toilet. The parking area is a farmyard with uneven access.

Photography

Photographs may be taken during the class to be used for promotional purposes both on SeaMaid’s website and social media accounts. Please advise at the start of the session if you would rather not be photographed.

Under 18s Policy

I welcome attendees over the age of 14. Attendees aged 14 to 16 must be accompanied by a fee paying adult who will provide close supervision of, and take responsibility for the young person.

Start and finish times

The start time of your class will be advised in your class description. Please aim to arrive a little before the class starts. Finish times are advisory; as students work at different speeds your own finish time may differ to others in the class. Please be aware that there may be another class after your own and time is required to set up for follow on sessions.
