Back in the studio!

I finally made it back into my studio today! The array of beautiful gemstones and Cornish sea glass on my jewellers bench was both exciting and daunting. There are so many ideas in my head that are fighting for my attention, and it's pretty overwhelming.

A cup of coffee and some procrastination later, I realised that I needed a familiar task to kick-start some productivity. Happily, the result was twenty-three pairs of Apatite and Amazonite bead earrings, in recycled sterling silver.

These earrings are new stock for when our Boscastle artisan collective shop, Sea to Shore, re-opens in February. 

What's ahead for 2025?

This year I will be focussing on:

• welcoming more of you to my jewellery-making workshops at my studio near Launceston, Cornwall
• making improvements to my website and web presence, which includes sourcing help with SEO and design
• carefully choosing which artisan markets to be involved with. You can see what I have lined up here, and I hope to have more to share with you soon!

In other news...I have joined Cornwall Open Studios and will be opening my studio 24-26 MAY and 30 MAY-1 JUNE. This will be a first for SeaMaid, and it's rather exciting! More on this to come...
